Group Picnic Groves

Saratoga Springs offers seven private picnic groves to choose from, each with their own unique qualities. Each area is naturally divided by the terrain, to give added privacy. All of the groves include water and electrical outlets, and lighting for evening events. Whichever Fabulous Feast you choose, our BAR-B-QUE is cooked in your private grove, and each group will have its own cooking and serving staff at a designated time.

All beverages are provided in your private picnic grove. Audio-visual equipment is available to rent for business meetings, seminars, etc. Recreational equipment is also available for all groves, free of charge, and can be checked out in the General Store.

Exclusive Use: 800-3000 People

Exclusive Use of Saratoga Springs allows you the opportunity to reserve the entire park just for your employees and their families.  The day is exclusively yours, allowing your the freedom to create the picnic of your dreams.
Your reservation includes all of the following:

  • 2 Bocce Ball Courts
  • 5 Volleyball Courts, 6 Horseshoe Pits, 1/2 Court Basketball
  • Complimentary Dunk Tank

  • Dance Floor and Stage area great for music and DJs
  • FUN ZONE which includes 30 foot inflatable slide, face painting, inflatable obstacle course, bounce house, Hoola Hoop, Jump Rope Fun and temporary tattoos

Longbridge: 400-800 People

Longbridge Picnic Area is uniquely situated with the historic Long Bridge in the background. Originally there was a wooden bridge that crossed over Saratoga Creek, which was the highest and longest span in Santa Clara County at the time. In 1904, the wooden bridge was replaced by a two-lane stone span that is now the breath-taking backdrop to this picturesque picnic grove.
The reservation of this area includes a stage (dance floor), 2 bocce ball courts, dunk tank, two volleyball courts, one horseshoe pit, and its own beverage station. The swimming pool, restrooms, and changing rooms are adjacent to Longbridge Picnic Grove. For “Hot Summer Night” picnics, Longbridge is beautifully illuminated to give evening events a unique atmosphere to remember

Hilltop: 225-400 people

Hilltop Picnic Area is located near the swimming pool, and is unique in that it has two different levels. The site has a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pit, beautiful fern vegetation, and is well shaded with Redwood, Alder, and Oak trees. Should you require a larger area, this grove connects to Cathedral Grove by a footbridge that crosses over Booker Creek. These two sites together could accommodate groups of up to 700 people.

Cathedral Grove: 175 – 300 People

Cathedral Grove Picnic Area is ideal for groups desiring a little more privacy. The natural vegetation and terrain gives this grove a natural “cathedral” appearance. Booker Creek runs alongside this picnic grove, allowing for the pleasant sounds of rustling water  and fun-filled rubber duckie races!  The area is perfect for meetings, picnics, reunions, weddings, and rehearsal dinners. Cathedral Grove is just the place for your next event. A volleyball court is on-site, and a horseshoe pit is near the entrance. A dunk tank is also available to rent at this grove.

Redwood Grove: 135 – 200 People

Redwood Grove Picnic Area lies next to the junction of Booker Creek and Saratoga Creek. The site has a gentle slope leading down to the creek, which allows for playful water fun for kids and adults! Well shaded, a footbridge crosses Booker Creek into this grove. For evening events the area is well-lighted, and it is the perfect location for Rubber Duckie Races in the creek! Towering Redwood trees are located in this beautiful grove, while the majestic mountainside makes for a natural border, giving added privacy. Redwood Grove has one horseshoe pit and scheduled volleyball court times for your recreational needs!

Saratoga Cove: 75 – 125 People

Saratoga Cove Picnic Area is located directly across from the children’s playground. A wooden footbridge crosses over Booker Creek into this area. This is an ideal location for groups with small children because the parents can view the children playing in the creek and playground, while sitting in their picnic grove. Towering redwood trees divide this site from Redwood Grove.

Booker Creek: 50 – 100 People

Booker Creek Picnic Area is the most central of all the picnic sites. It is located next to the Fun Zone where the 30 foot inflatable slide, face painting, inflatable obstacle course, bounce house, and temporary tattoos take place. It is ideal for small companies, family reunions, and birthday parties. Booker Creek runs alongside this grove, and the site is well shaded. Honeysuckle trellises enclose this site to give added privacy with a fragrant aroma. A horseshoe pit is located across the bridge crossing Booker Creek, and scheduled volleyball court times allow for lots of recreational fun!

Campbell Cove: 25 – 50 People

Nestled between the historic landmark of the Campbell Mill and Booker Creek lies our newest picnic site, Campbell Cove. This picnic area is ideal for smaller groups ranging from 25-50 people. Campbell cove includes many of the same amenities as the larger areas. Honeysuckle trellises enclose this site to give the added privacy with a fragrant aroma and Book Creek flows year-round. There is also easy access to the General Store and Video Arcade for your convenience and enjoyment.
